Thayer Infrastructure Services is committed to reducing its environmental
impact while continuing to deliver critical infrastructure solutions across the
power, broadband, and utility sectors. As part of our broader sustainability
strategy, we are focused on reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
associated with our fleet and field operations.
Goal:
Reduce Scope 1 GHG emissions by 40% by 2035, using calendar year 2024
as the baseline.
Scope 1 emissions include direct emissions from company-owned vehicles,
heavy equipment, and on-site fuel use across Thayer’s operating companies.
Key strategies to achieve this goal include:
Modernizing fleet assets with more fuel-efficient and lower-emission
equipment
Reducing idling and optimizing routing through expanded telematics
and field analytics
Implementing preventive maintenance practices that improve
operational efficiency
Piloting hybrid and electric vehicle use for select divisions and yard
operations
This target reflects our belief in taking measurable, achievable steps toward
environmental responsibility while maintaining operational excellence.
